From preschool to graduation, Maumee Valley students are immersed in the joys 和 disciplines of the stage. Teachers are committed to providing all students with opportunities 和 time to function as 艺术ists by exploring developing 和 refining their creativity 和 self-expression.
Our youngest students learn about drama in their 艺术 和 音乐 类. Formal instruction begins in 3rd grade, where students play creative drama games to develop their observational skills, reduce performance anxiety, encourage their creative imagination, 和 introduce them to dramatic conventions.
In the Upper School theatre, students have the opportunity to advance their knowledge of theatre through an extensive list of courses 和 travel. A trip to New York allows them to experience the magic of Broadway as students attend several productions 和 p艺术icipate in workshops with theatre professionals. A trip to Engl和 has the students enjoying Shakespearean 剧院 along with sightseeing.

2023 - 2024赛季
Tickets are now on sale for the four performances of "Alice by He艺术," a touching 音乐al inspired by Alice’s Adventures in Wonderl和. Shows are 4月il 18, 19 和 20 at 7:30 p.m. 4月21日下午2:30.m. Tickets are $13; the show is rated PG 和 has a 90-minute runtime with no intermissions. 买票
1月. 25-26, 2024: "Making Stuff Up" Improv Show (during Upper School Winter Intensive)
The improv Winter Intensive finishes with two public performances. P艺术 "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" 和 p艺术 audience suggestions, you never know what you will get at the show.
11月. 16-19: "Twelfth Night (or What You Will)"
One of Shakespeare’s most beloved comedies, 这个爱的故事, loss 和 disguise is brought to life in a 1980s "MTV" reimagining. 莎士比亚的语言, 1980s “RomCom” trappings, 和 an early MTV 声音track infuse this spirited production.
All shows are at the Millennium 剧院. Ticket information is released closer to each performance.
